Frequently Asked Questions Q. How long does it take for you to trace a subject?
A. Our standard Trace, Status or Trace & Status reports are completed within 28 days. We also provide Express (24-48 Hours), 7 days, 14 days and 21 day services. Please see our services page.
Q. What happens if you cannot locate a subject?
A. Our success rates are very high. For those rare occasions where we cannot
locate the subject we have a standard ‘No Trace: No Fee’ policy and you will
not be charged. There is therefore no risk in using our service.
Q. Do you provide a written report?
A. Yes, all clients receive a written report detailing the subject’s traced address and any other useful background information. (Note: We can also provide an emailed report in either EXCEL or WORD formats)
Q. What information do you require to initiate an investigation?
A. Ideally, we would prefer a full name, date of birth and last known address. Previous addresses or relatives addresses would also be useful, employment details, telephone numbers (including mobiles) and any other relevant information.
Q. How do I instruct you to start your investigations?
A. We simply require your written instructions – we provide the Trace Instruction Spreadsheet or Trace Instruction Form. See our Contacts page on how to instruct us by email, post or fax.
Q. What is a Status and Premier Pre-Sue report?
A. A Status report provides employment details so that you may decide whether to take legal action by applying for an attachment of earnings order if the debtor fails to pay. A Premier Pre-Sue report provides the same employment details together with County Court Judgement details and a Land Registry search on the property requested. Please see our Services page.
